My question is this: are the characters Avogadro, Kharisma and Ollie an intentional parallel of Julius, Brutus, and Octavius/Agustus respectively?

Anyway, I am a bit curious as to whether Branwen's mom is the same person as Bian's "Auntie Clover" or not. Clover seems nicer so I am probably wrong, but perhaps you could shed some light or links on the subject?
